Protect seniors
AARP recently conducted a study that showed some people over the age of 50 are victims to some type of fraud by “con criminals.” These individuals target seniors and their bank accounts by telephone, mail or the Internet.
“Con criminals” usually use a current news item or charity as a way to get money. These people are so good at their con game; it is hard to detect a fraud.
If you or a family member falls into the “senior” category, you need to educate yourself with the common frauds circulating the community. Do not allow a “con criminal” to take money from you or a loved one. If you have fallen victim to a “con criminal”, please contact a qualified Elder Abuse Attorney who will investigate and work to get your money returned.
